Role Summary/Purpose
CAS is the premier GE leadership program within a company known for its talent development. Members spend a minimum of two years on CAS to develop their skill set and learn GE after which they become part of the talent pipeline for leadership positions in our businesses. Essential Responsibilities
· Develop and execute financial, compliance and process audit plans· Risk assess routines, controls and new areas· Participate in internal investigations as requested· Communicate with local, regional and global leaders as needed· Support company initiatives and ad hoc projects as requested· Work as a constructive team to achieve group objectives· Develop professional skills and leadership capabilities in preparation for internal promotion
Qualifications/Requirements
· 3-5 years working experience in finance, accounting, auditing or related field· Fluent in English and the local language for this market (written and oral)· Self-motivated, independent and ability to execute with minimum supervision· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment· Strong analytical and risk assessment skills· Willingness and ability to travel Internationally, up to 100%, as needed for a minimum of two years· No restrictions on entering the United States of America for training or business meetings
Desired Characteristics
· Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX or IAS· Member of a chartered accountancy· Strong communication· Experience auditing or working in a Fortune 500 company
